Enchanted Kingdom Creations Costumes is a mother and daughter team based out of Delta, Utah.
The business got its start in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s as founder, Ellen, started hand making costumes for her three sons and one daughter in an attempt to save money on low quality/high priced costumes that were, and still are, mass-produced for retail sale.
Ellen got great compliments on the costumes from other parents in her area and even requests to make costumes for their children. She found that these requests came not only during Halloween, but all throughout the year for dress up play, and even dance recitals and drama productions. Seeing the potential for profit, she started making more and more costumes and selling them at local craft fairs. She soon branched out to the internet by joining websites such as Ebay, Etsy, and finally by creating her own website enchantedkingdomcreations.com.
Enchanted Kingdom Creations focuses on the development of girl’s costumes, but also makes ladies sized Renaissance and colonial gowns and men’s knight tunics.
