Fairy Tale February: The Knight

FairyTale February is coming to a close, so we need to give a shout out to the princes out there. I know it sometimes seems that the movies put too much emphasis on the fact that the prince seems to always save the princess, but, let's face it, these are some pretty awesome guys. So today's spotlight goes out to the Red Knight!

Once upon a time, in The Enchanted Kingdom, there was a brave young knight. He was sworn to protect the kingdom and all the people who lived there. One day while he was riding his horse, he saw a trail of smoke in the distance. He went to investigate and found a castle that was being attacked by a massive red beast. The knight knew there was no time to lose, he pulled out his sword and he slew the monster. To award his honor, the king of the castle bestowed the knight with armor that showed the very creature that he saved the kingdom from. He also earned a valiant place in history as word of his achievement spread over the land.

Fairy Tale February: Belle

Once upon a time in the Enchanted Kingdom lived a young girl named Belle. She lived in a small village with her father, where she spent most of her free time reading books. One day her father was in trouble with a hideous beast, she promised the beast that if he let her father go she would stay in his castle as his servant, a suggestion to which he agreed. After some time living with this beast, she began to see the beauty in his soul and she fell in love with him, but became ill and she was frightened that he might die. She gave him a farewell kiss and a magical thing happened. Beautiful yellow light, so bright it stung her eyes, swirled around the beast and when it dissipated a handsome young man was revealed. They were soon married and lived happily to the end of their days.

Fairy Tale February: Rapunzel

Once upon a time in the Enchanted Kingdom lived a girl named Rapunzel. She was locked in a tower all her life by an evil witch. During her stay in the tower the witch would often call up to her to let down her amazingly long hair, for that was the only way to enter the tower. To help time pass during her captivity, she would make beautiful gowns that were fit for a princess. The only problem being that she never had anywhere to wear them. One day a new voice called up for her to let down her hair. This voice belonged to a handsome prince. It was love at first sight. He rescued her from the tower and married her, making her a Princess. Her new castle gave a place to wear her beautiful dresses.

Once upon a time in the Enchanted Kingdom lived a young girl named Snow White. She was beautiful beyond all others and was in danger for that very reason--because an Evil Queen, who wanted to be the fairest in the land, sent out a warrant for her death. Snow White went into hiding with her friends the 7 dwarfs, but even that wasn't enough to save her, for one day an old lady came to the door to present her an apple. This apple was poisoned and after she bit it she fell into a death-like sleep, but a handsome prince revived her with true loves kiss and they defeated the Evil Queen together and lived happily ever after.

Fairy Tale February: Pink Fairy Princess

Once upon a time in the Enchanted Kingdom, there was a Frolic of Fairies that lived in a hollow tree. Over one hundred fairies lived here, and each of them had their very own job to do. The most important job was held by the Pink Fairy who was their princess. Her duty was to keep the hollow tree safe. One day an ogre wandered into the forest and was knocking down trees. The Pink Fairy saw that he was making his way toward the hollow tree, so with a burst of courage she flew out to meet him. She tickled his side with her little fingers and made him laugh so hard that he was rolling on the ground. The ogre begged her to stop tickling him and promised that he would never return. All the other fairies rejoiced--The Pink Fairy Princess saved the day once again !

Once upon a time, in The Enchanted Kingdom, there was a young girl. She spent most of her days doing chores for her step-mother and cleaning up after her two obnoxious step-sisters. One day news came that the prince was having a ball. Of course her step mother said she would only be allowed to go if she completed all of her chores. She rushed to finished, then the young girl searched for the perfect dress. She went first to her fairy god mother, who made the most desirable gowns. In no time, as if by magic, they put together a dress of blue that was more beautiful than any dress that had been made before. The young girl went to the ball, while there she met the prince and danced with him until midnight, when she had to go home. She was the talk of the kingdom because of her stunning dress--but most people remembered her for her shoes.
